As 2025 draws to a close, we’ve taken time to pause and reflect on the journeys we were privileged to design this year.
Each safari began the same way, with a conversation. A thoughtful exchange that gradually shaped a journey around pace, personality, and the version of Africa each traveller hoped to experience. These early discussions remain at the heart of our work. They guide every decision, from the rhythm of an itinerary to the choice of landscape and lodge.
This year was never about volume. It was about connection. The trust our guests placed in us, the care they brought to their planning, and the shared excitement as each journey took shape. Those conversations continue to anchor how we approach travel design at Nurture Africa Safaris.

What Shaped Our Travellers’ Journeys in 2025
Across the year, clear patterns emerged in how guests approached their safaris with us.
Many travellers prioritised true personalisation — itineraries paced around individual interests, preferred regions, and distinct travel styles. There was a strong appreciation for expert guidance, particularly for more complex or multi-country journeys, where clarity and confidence in the planning process mattered deeply.
Ease played a central role. Guests valued seamless coordination, clear communication, and thoughtful transitions between destinations. From lodge selection to movement through each landscape, details mattered — not for excess, but for comfort, flow, and intention.
A quieter form of luxury stood out. Experiences that felt warm, grounded, and genuinely connected to place resonated most — where quality was expressed through care, timing, and atmosphere rather than formality.

“Our personal preferences were truly considered, and the trip was designed to meet our needs and exceed our expectations.” — Wilhelm von La Chevallerie

Behind the Scenes: Crafting Travel with Intention
Throughout 2025, much of our focus remained behind the scenes — strengthening the foundations that make personalised travel possible.
We deepened partnerships with lodges and suppliers who share our guest-first ethos, allowing us to design journeys with greater flexibility and confidence. New routes and family-friendly itineraries were curated with care, while our approach to multi-generational travel continued to evolve.
Seasonal timing and wildlife patterns played an increasingly central role in shaping itineraries, ensuring that each journey aligned naturally with the landscape and its rhythms. At the same time, many guests began planning well ahead, with 2026 and 2027 already firmly in view.
It has been a year defined by careful craft — small decisions, meaningful conversations, and journeys shaped with intention rather than haste

Looking Ahead to 2026 and Beyond
As we move into the new year, our focus remains unchanged.
We continue to believe in travel that feels considered, planning that feels easy, and safaris designed around people rather than templates. Whether you’re returning to a place you love or exploring a region for the first time, our role is to guide each step with clarity and care.
Thank you for the trust you’ve placed in us this year — for the conversations, the shared ideas, and the relationships that continue to grow. We look forward to the journeys ahead.
